it's been too long

Nate here- So, I'm probably the worst blogger ever, I've been meaning to write this ever since we got back from our trip down to California close to two weeks ago, but... as you can see I haven't. I'm blaming it on the fact that we broke our camera right before we went down and so we didn't have any pictures from the trip, you can't blog without pictures right? Anyway, we got a new camera today so we're back in business.

California was a lot of fun, we got to spend some quality time with M.C.'s family, play and relax by the pool. Some of the highlights for me were a Father's day BBQ with their family friends the Lintons, some surfing down at Doheny Beach, and an afternoon drive in her dad's GTO, very cool! You may be jealous right now wishing you had been able to go down too but don't worry it wasn't all fun and games, there was also a little TCB going on as well (taking care of business.) We went and did some wedding stuff. We registered at Crate and Barrel and Macys. We also went to find wedding invitation envelopes but were unsuccessful :( All in all California was great and it was fun to spend some time with the fam.

We also got to spend a little time in NV on our way back and forth from CA. The best part of that was going to watch Hannah compete in the Cinderella Beauty Pageant. She finished as the second runner up in the state teen portion, not bad at all, way to go Han (also, I'll take this opportunity to throw another shout out to Hannah since she got her driving learners permit, kind of scary, but cool. Congrats!)

Tonight we went to a fun little pizzeria called P712. Kind of amazing! We both liked it a lot. The food was great and it had a fun little atmosphere. Then after that we went to a country concert featuring: Josh Gracin, Collin Raye, and Joe Nichols, down at the new UVU. The concert was part of the celebration for UVSC becoming a university. We had a lot of fun at the show and watching the fireworks that followed. Yay UVU!
